Yin Zhen, or Silver Needle, is one of China’s most prized white teas, made from the young, unopened buds of the tea plant. Each bud is covered in a fine silvery-white down, giving this exquisite tea its name.

And then there is the jasmine…

The tea is traditionally scented with fresh jasmine blossoms, carefully allowing the flowers to impart their natural fragrance to the delicate white tea. Jasmine is particularly enchanting because its flowers release much of their fragrance as evening arrives and they bloom and become intensely aromatic at night. 🌙🌸

There is something rather magical about imagining those freshly opened jasmine flowers releasing their perfume into the waiting tea.

Our organic Jasmine Yin Zhen is beautifully delicate and fragrant, with a soft sweetness, gentle floral character and wonderfully clean finish.

🍵 How to brew: 85°C water for around 2–3 minutes. Avoid boiling water, which can overwhelm the delicate flavours. And try a second infusion — those beautiful silver buds have more to give!
