Organic Meadowsweet Tea

One of the most anti inflammatory of all the herbs, meadowsweet smells like aspirin which is to be expected as it is high in the salicylic acid which aspirin is derived from. It is this which gives it an anti thrombotic effect on blood vessels. It is also high in flavonoids and phenolic glycosides.
It is wonderfully calming to the digestive system and my go to herb for acidic stomachs. It has a strong history and reputation for use in rheumatic conditions, it is antiseptic, anti ulcer, astringent (will stop diarrhoea) and diaphoretic(cooling) and soothes the urinary tract. An all rounder without compare.
